How many people are required to power the pedal contraption before it will go?

Only one person is required to pedal when the pedal cloud is on flat ground. Two or three are nice to have when going uphill. The more riders the higher chance someone will not work as hard and/or stop pedaling all together. Hans and Kai have both gotten it up to 10MPH+ by themselves.
